Role Overview

As a Coffee Shop Supervisor, you¿ll ensure smooth operations in the absence of the Manager, providing leadership and support to maintain a welcoming environment. You¿ll engage guests, drive sales through suggestive selling, and uphold service excellence standards. This role is vital to creating a positive experience for everyone who visits our Coffee Shop, contributing to the overall wellness-focused culture of West Bloomfield Hospital.

What You Will Do

• Greet each guest within 15 seconds with a warm, verbal or non-verbal welcome, maintaining eye contact and a smile.
• Proactively engage guests in conversation, seeking opportunities to educate and suggestively sell products.
• Maintain Coffee Shop operations in the Manager¿s absence, ensuring all company initiatives are executed effectively.
• Interact with volunteers in a patient and professional manner, fostering a collaborative environment.
• Lift boxes up to 40 lbs and push loaded carts to move merchandise from storage to sales areas.

Qualifications

What You Will Need

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• Restaurant, retail, or guest service experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a healthcare or hospital environment.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience.
