Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and outgoing Barista to join our team! In this role, you will welcome customers into the coffee shop, POS orders, acai bowls, food prep and also prepare coffee orders. Your goal is to ensure patrons enjoy all we offer and our shop. The ideal candidate is passionate about food service and loving people and is willing to go above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

Welcome customers into the coffee shop with a smile

Take food and beverage orders

Explain the menu items to customers

Create a variety of food items, acai bowls, and kitchen prep.

Learn coffee and complex coffee orders

Enter orders into the POS system with accuracy and efficiency

Bus tables and wipe down surfaces

Maintain a clean work environment

Qualifications:

Familiarity with food safety guidelines

ServeSafe or Food Handler’s Certification or ability to obtain shortly after hiring

Excellent customer service skills

Strong problem-solving skills

Ability to work some weekends

Ability to stand for extended periods
