    The TRYP Hotel by Wyndham-Pittsburgh/Lawrenceville is hiring an enthusiastic Barista. The Barista will prepare and serve high-quality espresso, brewed coffee, and specialty beverages. Responsibilities: • Follow TRYP’s recipes, brewing standards, and quality control procedures • Provide warm, friendly, and efficient customer service • Educate customers on coffee products, ingredients, and menu offerings when appropriate • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the bar, café, and prep areas • Manage ingredients responsibly (FIFO, waste reduction, inventory awareness) • Support opening and closing procedures • Work collaboratively with the team to maintain a positive work environment • Consistently prepares drink orders in accordance with both franchise and TRYP guidelines. • Maintains the register and bank. • Maintain an accurate cash sheet. Responsible for cash drawer balancing. • Takes inventory of food, beverages, and supplies needed for each day. • Prepares serving dishes/trays, utensils, cups, and other paper products. • Clears and cleans tables as they are vacated. • Wipes up spills. • Removes trash. • Listens and responds to guest requests or concerns. • Cleans and sanitizes counters, floors, storage areas, utensils, equipment, and common areas as specified • Maintains regular attendance, is consistently on time, and observes prescribed work, break, and meal periods in compliance with standards. • Maintains high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include compliance with the dress code. Qualifications: What We’re Looking For • Passion for coffee, food, and people • Strong work ethic and attention to detail • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment • Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented • Willingness to learn and grow with the company • Previous barista or food service experience is a plus, but not required
