    Certified Kitchen & Bakery Barista

    Certified Kitchen and Bakery is hiring a talented Barista to join our family! Do you want to be part of a fun, dynamic, and growing hospitality group? Join us at the hippest spot in town.

    A Barista at Certified Kitchen and Bakery will succeed at supporting the entire team by maintaining high standards throughout the restaurant and being invested in our Core Values:

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    Maintain friendly and welcoming demeanor

    Set up and maintain a clean workstation

    Complete daily prep tasks given

    Constantly move throughout the kitchen and restaurant

    Comprehensive menu knowledge with ability to communicate details

    Take customer phone and in-person food and drink orders

    Read and understand tickets to determine what items needs to be prepared and when

    Follow and memorize detailed recipes, using consistent methods

    Assemble all drinks on menu including pulling espresso shots, cold brews, and kombucha

    Constantly monitor and maintain food and drink standards for recipe adherence, production, appearance, correctness, quality, and safety

    Assist with every facet of restaurant front of the house procedures to ensure an outstanding guest experience

    Handle guest concerns by listening; informing a manager; and helping to resolve issues

    Operate a variety of kitchen equipment and tools

    Process accurate cash and credit card transactions with point-of-sale system

    Assist in stocking and cleaning dry goods area

    Assist in dish upkeep

    Take out trash and boxes

    Support team members including leadership

    Execute effective communication skills

    Exude a positive attitude under stress

    Contribute to a fun and professional work environment

    Consistently execute follow-through

    REQUIREMENTS

    LOVE for the restaurant industry

    Ability to follow detailed directions

    Ability to follow standard restaurant procedures

    Ability to prepare food according to specifications

    Ability to maintain standards in food and beverage quality

    Ability to safely utilize a variety of kitchen tools and machinery

    Ability to serve all guests to high standards in a fast-paced environment

    Ability to be highly organized

    Ability to multitask

    Ability to communicate effectively

    Ability to clean and maintain a safe work environment

    Ability to uphold company policies
