    About This Role 

    Simply put - you love people and you love dogs! As a Customer Success Associate, you will be responsible for the full client lifecycle - initial contact, through booking appointments and ensuring client retention. You are proactive, adaptable, and a relationship builder at your core. You are excited about the challenges that come with building a startup, and enjoy being both strategic and hands-on.  As the CSA, you will liaise with Groomer teammates to ensure route optimization and excellent customer service. In this role, you will book appointments, communicate with all new and existing clients and implement strategies to enhance routing efficiency and build operational excellence. The ideal candidate loves teamwork, problem solving and thrives in an environment where they can work autonomously while being both analytical and creative. 

    Role & Responsibilities:

    • Serve as the central point of contact for all prospective clients providing insight into their grooming inquiries. 
    • Share the Barkbus value proposition with new clients and provide an elevated experience for both Groomers and Clients
    • Qualify, pitch and book appointments for new and existing clients via phone call, text or other communication platforms. 
    • Be excited to learn about specific dog characteristics & local geography to achieve operational excellence.
    • Strive to schedule appointments to minimize drive-time & create efficiency within groomer schedules.
    • Develop and implement booking, retention and customer service processes. 
    • Identify opportunities to optimize existing booking and routing processes as well establish potential partnerships with local businesses aligned with Barkbus mission and values. 
    • Support leadership team to execute special projects related to expanding product offerings and areas of service.

     

    Qualifications:

    • Must be both a people and dog lover!
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to adapt to the needs of the organization.
    • Proficient with Google productivity suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc).
