Job Description

Working directly with the CEO of the company (Barry Katz) along with a team of other assistants, on day-to-day tasks relating to audio and video editing (very important this year)…as well as his comedy talent management clients, tv-film productions, VR/AR projects, executive consulting, and Industry Standard podcast (guests have included Kevin Hart, Dr. Phil, Caitlyn Jenner, "Wonder Woman" director Patty Jenkins, David Copperfield, Judd Apatow, Norman Lear, Bill Burr, Chuck Lorre, and Netflix president Ted Sarandos).   

ALTHOUGH NOT 100% NECESSARY, WE ARE PRIORITIZING CANDIDATES THAT ARE PROFICIENT IN EDITING VIDEO/AUDIO CONTENT, HAVE PRODUCTION EXPERIENCE, AND ARE LOCATED IN THE LA AREA.

BKE Team

BKE VIDEO EDITING INTERN

We are in need to hire a multiple video editors that will directly help produce BKE content. (We use Adobe After Effects).

We are looking for someone who has: 

• The ability to edit raw BKE footage from the set in Malibu
• The ability to produce and post content to various platforms (Patreon, YouTube, Instagram) and on to the BKE website.
• The ability to take multiple notes for future cuts and final versions
• The ability to manage large files and hard drives, along with master audio tracks

Experience with Premiere and Adobe After Effects is preferred.

BKE PODCAST INTERN

We are in need to hire multiple Podcast interns that will directly help manage, produce, and edit “The Industry Standard”? podcast.

We are looking for someone who has:

• The ability to edit audio from episodes
• The ability to help produce and manage content on to iTunes, Spotify, Stitcher, Art19
• The ability to provide research and notes for each guest
• If physically on set: greeting guests, helping with sound recording, and downloading and transferring audio

BKE ADMINISTRATIVE INTERN

We are looking for an administrative intern with a fun and motivated attitude to assist with production at the office.

We are looking for someone who has: 

• The ability to work closely with all the different teams at BKE (social media, development, production)
• The ability to assist with day to day productions at the office
• The ability to schedule meetings, shooting dates, and interviews
• The ability to keep track of on going projects and helping with launch dates (Patreon, E-book, etc.)

BKE SOCIAL MEDIA INTERN

We are in need a motivated and comedy oriented social media intern to help maintain consistent content across social media platforms.

We are looking for someone who has: 

• The ability to develop and design promotional and personal posts for Barry Katz Entertainment
• Formulate promotional email newsletters
• Knowledgeability on social media trends
• Strong oral and written communication skills

BKE DEVELOPMENT INTERN

We are in need a motivated development intern used to working in a fast-paced environment

We are looking for someone who has: 

• Strong oral and written communication skills
• The ability to assist with notes and script coverage
• Manage scheduling for production
• Superior organizational skills and strong multi-tasking abilities
• Strong attention to detail

BKE PHYSICAL PRODUCTION INTERN

We are in need of a motivated and efficient Physical Production Intern with experience in video and sound recording.

We are looking for someone who has: 

• Knowledge of mics/recorders/proper recording levels for podcasting and dialogue
• Ability to take direction on set
• Must be available in person
• Experience in Adobe Audition
• High attention to detail
