Job Summary
As a Corporate Recruiter you will work with the corporate recruiting team as a full desk, full life cycle recruiter within the engineering market. The role will support an assigned geographic area or assigned divisions and national practice groups or a combination of both.
Responsibilities
- Develop strong relationships with hiring managers and leadership team to forecast and develop plans for key staffing initiatives and to maximize effectiveness of recruiting process
- Identify passive and active candidates through job boards, social media, resume databases, job fairs and industry networking, cold calling, in-person appointments and referrals
- Strategic sourcing using current best practice techniques for identifying desired candidates across multiple disciplines and locations and determining creative ways in which Design Group can increase touch points with candidates
- Successfully execute multiple sourcing project responsibilities with minimal supervision
- Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding employment practices
- Ensure an understanding of Design Group culture, organizational structure, and open positions
- Research and maintain knowledge of market trends and best practices in recruitment of applicable functional areas
- Treat all candidate and company information properly and confidentially
Requirements
- 5+ years’ experience recruiting and sourcing experience in a corporate or agency environment
- 3+ years’ experience recruiting engineering and technical professionals from the following manufacturing industries: food & beverage, life science, semi-conductor and oil & gas.
- Experience with current sourcing techniques and a successful record of placing high quality professionals
- Proven track record of identifying, relationship building and hiring of passive candidates
- Strong technical skills using MS Office suite, Outlook, Applicant Tracking Systems, and various Internet job boards
- Possess in-depth experience with recruiting techniques and employment nomenclature
- Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills and ability to interact with our valued team members
- Must be willing to work a flexible schedule, beyond typical working hours if necessary, to cover all US time zones
Education
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
Licenses and Certifications
- Recruiting or Sourcing training certificates desired
