    Attn: Store aiming to open beginning of December. There will be a week of required training prior to opening

    Summary: The Bartender is responsible for providing a unique bar experience that aligns with the Cheba Hut culture and Core Values. They will uphold Cheba Hut bar standards, local alcohol laws, and demonstrate a positive and inclusive attitude. The Bartender must be knowledgeable about restaurant operations and product standards, including both food and drinks.

    The Bartender will report to the General Manager and have accountability to the Bar Manager.

    Pay: $18 base/hour plus tips

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    Maintain Bar Safety for Customers and Crew

    Assist With Restaurant Operations Outside of Bar Operations

    Create a Unique and Enjoyable Environment for Customers:

    Live our culture every shift – give a damn and take pride

    Execute a high level of communication skills in both positive and negative situations

    Prioritize customers with an “interaction over the transaction” mindset

    Understand bar terminology and how to apply this knowledge to day-to-day operations

    Recommend signature cocktails, craft beers, and food menu items

    Establish a regular clientele through genuine interactions

    Provide quick and efficient service

    Maintain a clean, well-stocked, organized bar at all times

    Ability to execute high level customer service in the lobby and patio

    Uphold Product Quality Standards and Abide by Cheba Hut Standard Operating Procedures:

    Stay up to date with current drink recipes and bar partners

    Practice F.I.F.O. with all bar products

    Practice correct labeling procedures and verify products are within the shelf life date

    Utilize Bar recipe cards and follow all steps correctly

    Demonstrate integrity while following bar discount parameters

    Prioritize suggesting Cheba Hut specialty cocktails and National Partner related product

    Maintain Bar Safety for Customers and Crew:

    Understand bar terminology and how to apply this knowledge to day-to-day operations

    Understand and uphold all local and national alcohol laws and compliance

    Keep head on a swivel at all times – high level awareness of surroundings

    Abide by Cheba Hut ID policy

    Must be certified with local or national alcohol training

    Work carefully and responsibly to ensure that customers and crew are not overconsuming alcohol and take appropriate action if this should occur

    Communicate and complete incident reports when necessary, in a timely manner

    Uphold shop specific “shift drink” and crew alcohol policies

    Assist With Restaurant Operations Outside of Bar Operations:

    Ability to take orders from “in shop” customers at the bar during peak periods

    Assist with Expo when appropriate – identify needs prior to being asked

    Executing lobby love during down and peak periods

    Line baskets when not assisting customers

    Assist with phone orders if the BOH cannot answer the phone

    Maintain beverage station cleanliness and prepare bubbler beverages (i.e. Kool-Aid & Tea)

    Working Conditions:

    Ability to lift 159lbs (weight of a full ½ barrel keg) – ask for assistance when needed

    Stamina to work an 8 -hour shift

    Ability to stand up to 8 hours per day

    Ability to work under mentally and physically stressful situations

    Ability to work in team environment with high levels of collaboration

    Ability to handle a variety of foods including meat, cheese, breads, sauces, and vegetables

    Overtime may be required

    Must be comfortable with marijuana themed culture
