Our first concept, Fielding's Wood Grill, was named one of the TOP 10 Best New Restaurants of 2013 by the Houston Chronicle and Alison Cook. Fielding's Wood Grill is a "best in class" all natural wood grill & rotisserie with craft beers, good wines, and scratch cocktails. Our menu includes craft burgers, artisan bread, house ground proteins, amazing salads, and hand spun chef-crafted milk shakes. We also offer a full bar with craft beer, signature cocktails, and thoughtful wines as well as a complete espresso and coffee bar menu. Lunch and Dinner daily, and brunch on Saturdays and Sundays.

SERVER & BARTENDER Job requirements:
3 years full service, upscale or fine dining preferred
Strong salesmanship and verbal communication skills a must
Strong knowledge of food and new world wine a must
Knowledge of Lavu and other order platforms system a plus
Must be a self-starter
Bartender Job description
The Bartender position at Fielding’s Wood Grill is a key element in creating positive, memorable guest experience at the bar and bar area. The position is responsible for making and selling craft cocktails, beer, wine and food at the bar to company standards.
Essential Duties but not limited to:
Ø Follow recipes to specification to make cocktails
Ø Jigger pour only, no free pour
Ø Work in a clean, fast manner with showmanship
Ø Portion all beverages to specification
Ø Be knowledgeable of all food and beverage menus and service procedures
Ø Be knowledgeable and able to execute the restaurant, food, and service standards
Ø Be nimble in high activity situations to greet, serve, sell, beverages efficiently
Ø Manage and control amount of alcohol served and consumed by guests
Ø Process to-go orders
Ø Present yourself to company expectations.
Competencies & Qualifications:
Ø Attend quarterly meetings to review financial and operational expectations
Ø Have a true happy disposition
Ø Bi-lingual a plus
Ø Like highly fluid situations
Ø Be able to think on your feet quickly
Ø Demonstrate interest and share knowledge of food
Ø Able to lift and carry 50 pounds
Ø Able to follow directions
Ø Develop rapport with food expert to understand the full range of Fielding’s products and services
Ø Consistently search ways to improve and promote a high level of guest service
Ø Review and discuss guest and Partner feedback
Ø Treat guests and Partners with respect
