Job Title: Bartender Department: Restaurant Company: The Goodstone Inn & Restaurant Reports To: Banquet Manager
Job Summary: As a member of the Goodstone team, you'll help create a refined yet welcoming experience for our guests. We are committed to excellence, and we encourage creativity, teamwork, and a passion for hospitality.
Key Responsibilities:
Craft and serve a full range of beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic options, per recipes or guest preferences
Create unique and innovative cocktails that align with seasonal menus and guest tastes.
Maintain consistent quality, taste, and presentation of all drinks
Demonstrate knowledge of wine presentation, pairings, and service etiquette
Manage bar cleanliness, restocking, and sanitation of tools and glassware
Handle guest transactions, process payments, and manage bar tabs accurately
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of bartending experience, preferably in a fine dining or upscale environment
Strong knowledge of spirits, wine, and craft cocktails
Must be at least 21 years of age
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting and remain calm under pressure
Excellent communication and guest service skills
Physical Demands:
Regularly required to stand for extended periods, walk, talk, hear, and use hands and arms.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds as needed
Comfortable climbing stairs and moving throughout the property
