We’re looking for experienced Full and Part-time Bartenders who know how to have fun while working hard. Responsibilities:
Prepare and service beverages according to in-house recipes
Prepare and service beverages for servers and guests in a quick, efficient and friendly and professional manner
Stay current about beverage menu items, cost changes, specials, events, and entertainment. Be prepared to accurately answer customer questions
Handle problems which may arise, informing a manager of the problem and how it was resolved. Create Incident Reports timely and thoroughly, according to PLCB guidelines
Verify the legal drinking age of guests according to PLCB RAMP rules
Ensure that the bar is fully stocked and opening and closing duties are completed
Always ensure compliance with food handling and sanitation standards Follow all company and team policies
Assist with cleanup – sweeping, mopping floors, removal of cans and bottles, general cleaning of rails, chairs, tables, cooler, counters, in the bar room, patio and restrooms
Maintain the cleanliness of coolers, bar equipment, glassware, decanters and any other service items associated with beverage service
Perform daily/weekly/monthly cleaning, rotation and maintenance cleaning tasks
Operating the POS system and Handheld devices to take orders and to reconcile sales
Maintain cash drawer/box
Secure POS stations, Handheld devices, and employee only areas
Attend company and team meetings, as required
Qualifications:
A minimum of one year bartending experience is preferred
Team player with a creative and outgoing personality
Must be willing to work as a Server if/as needed
Must meet minimum age for preparing and serving alcoholic beverages
Able to logically and independently plan, organize, and complete work
RAMP certification (will need if you are not already certified)
Ability to stock and maintain sufficient levels of bar supplies, including alcohol, glassware, ice, and other necessary items.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.We are open 365 days per year.
Comfort with regular exposure to liquids and use of cleaning agents, demonstrating safe handling practices.
Competence in operating bar equipment such as knives and blenders safely.
Effective communication skills to understand and execute job requirements.
Ability to multitask and maintain composure in a high-pressure environment.
Comfortable working in tight spaces with fluctuating noise and temperature levels.
Physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and standing or walking during the entire shift, navigating through potential hazards in the restaurant.
