About Us

One Door North is San Diego’s elevated take on glamping-chic: tents, wood, greenery, warm lighting, and a playful, outdoor-adventure spirit. We’re expanding a bar program that includes craft cocktails, themed nights, and a high-energy social atmosphere.

We’re hiring a charismatic, polished, hospitality-driven bartender who understands how to create a vibe, connect with guests, and deliver great service while contributing to a fun, lodge-themed environment.

What You’ll Do

Bring the Vibe

Set the tone behind the bar with warmth, confidence, and positive energy.

Create a social, fun, après-ski atmosphere that guests remember.

Craft Excellent Cocktails

Prepare cocktails with consistency, accuracy, and speed.

Execute seasonal cocktails

Contribute creative ideas that align with our outdoor lodge theme bar program.

Deliver Outstanding Hospitality

Build rapport with guests, remember regulars, and keep the bar lively.

Know when to lean into the fun and when to stay calm and professional.

Support team members and maintain a stress-free, upbeat bar environment.

Operational Excellence

Maintain bar prep, stocking, and cleanliness.

Handle POS, cash, and bar procedures responsibly.

Ensure responsible alcohol service at all times.

Support the Brand Experience

Participate in themed nights and lodge-style events.

Feel comfortable being included in simple social media moments (pours, garnishes, behind-the-bar clips — nothing performative or promotional beyond normal workplace activity).

Help uphold the restaurant's aesthetic through demeanor, energy, and presentation.

Who You Are

Charismatic, friendly, and naturally great with people

Skilled in craft cocktail preparation and high-volume service

Polished, professional in appearance, and confident behind the bar

Reliable, punctual, and responsible

Able to read the room and adjust tone and energy
