Job Summary
Purple Cow Bartenders are responsible for delivering an energetic, welcoming, and “Outrageous” guest experience at the bar and throughout the restaurant. Bartenders prepare and serve beverages efficiently and accurately while engaging guests with a friendly, positive attitude. This role requires strong multitasking skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
Greet guests promptly and create a welcoming bar experience
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently
Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar area
Verify guest identification and comply with all alcohol service laws
Accurately handle cash, credit card transactions, and maintain a personal bank
Count back change correctly to guests
Communicate drink orders clearly with team members and management
Restock bar supplies and complete side work as assigned
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards at all times
Qualifications
Strong sense of guest service and urgency
Excellent communication and multitasking skills
Basic math and cash-handling skills
Ability to stay focused and organized in a high-volume environment
Ability to work collaboratively with a team
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
Prior bartending experience preferred (but willing to train the right candidate)
Must meet legal age requirements to serve alcohol
