About the Role

New LGBTQ bar / lounge / restaurant in Downtown Santa Ana, QUEENS LOUNGE is hiring all positions! Queens Lounge is looking for a polished, energetic, and hospitality-driven Bartender to join the team. This role is responsible for preparing and serving beverages with consistency, providing excellent guest service, maintaining strong product knowledge, and helping create a high-quality lounge experience.

We are looking for someone who is confident behind the bar, works well under pressure, moves with urgency, and takes pride in hospitality, cleanliness, and professionalism.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and service standards

Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, knowledgeable service at the bar

Maintain strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, beer, wine, and featured menu items

Accurately enter orders into the POS system and handle payments as needed

Upsell cocktails, spirits, wine, beer, and food items when appropriate

Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar throughout service

Check IDs when required and follow all responsible alcohol service standards

Communicate clearly with servers, barbacks, runners, kitchen staff, and management

Assist with opening setup, restocking, side work, cleaning, and closing duties

Help maintain the overall atmosphere, energy, and hospitality standards of Queens Lounge

Resolve minor guest concerns professionally and involve management when needed

Follow all health, safety, sanitation, and company policies

Qualifications

Previous bartending experience in a bar, lounge, restaurant, or hospitality setting preferred

Strong knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits preferred

Ability to multitask and stay composed in a fast-paced environment

Strong communication and guest service skills

Team-oriented attitude with a positive and professional demeanor

Basic math and cash handling skills

Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work nights, weekends, and holidays

Must meet all legal requirements for alcohol service in California

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
