We're looking for an experienced, energetic, and hospitality-focused Bartender to join our opening team.

Position Summary

The Bartender is responsible for creating exceptional guest experiences by preparing high-quality cocktails, serving wine and beer, and delivering friendly, attentive service. The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality, knowledgeable about beverages, and thrives in a fast-paced fine dining environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to Serai's recipes and quality standards.

Recommend cocktails, wine, beer, and beverage pairings to enhance the guest dining experience.

Provide outstanding customer service while maintaining a welcoming and professional atmosphere.

Accurately process beverage orders and operate the POS system.

Confirm patrons are of legal drinking age and follow all state and federal laws for serving alcoholic beverages

Maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation of the bar area.

Restock liquor, beer, wine, mixers, garnishes, and bar supplies.

Assist servers with beverage service during busy periods.

Monitor inventory and communicate supply needs to management.

Complete opening, closing, and side work duties.

Qualifications

Previous bartending experience required; fine dining experience preferred.

Knowledge of classic cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits. Mixology or hospitality certification is preferred but not required.

Knowledge of alcoholic beverages and bar menu items

Strong communication and guest service skills.

Professional appearance and positive attitude.

Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.

Basic math and cash-handling skills.

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Must meet Kentucky's legal requirements for serving alcoholic beverages.
