Do you like working in a fast-paced environment, meeting new people, and making a wide range of creative cocktails? You could be the ideal candidate for the position of bartender at our busy restaurant. You have a positive attitude and a customer-focused approach that ensures our patrons have a great time at the bar. You will be in charge of taking drink orders, recommending beer and wine, preparing traditional and unique mixed drinks, and maintaining the bar area so it is clean and sanitary at all times. We have dining tables and a bar top where service is available to our customers in our bar. This position also allows you to serve in our main dining area as a server as well. Part-time or full-time, lunch/dinner. $5 an hour +tips! Responsibilities: • Restock and clean as instructed, including side work for opening and closing of the restaurant • Receive payments and settle patron checks and tabs, as well as correctly record daily sales totals in point of sale system • Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages including wine, beer, liquor, mixed drinks, and more • Check customers age by verifying identification cards and serve alcoholic beverages to patrons per federal, state, local, and company laws and regulations Qualifications: • This role requires a strong emphasis on putting the patron first and providing exceptional customer service • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with customers and other team members • Outstanding time management and organizational skills • Educational requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent GED certification • Previous experience working in food service is preferred • Must have 2 years of bar experience • Must have Utah On-Premise Alcohol Seller-Server Training Certificate • Must have food handlers permit • Must be over 21 years of age Compensation: $5 hourly
