You will be in charge of taking drink orders, recommending beer and wine, preparing traditional and unique mixed drinks, and maintaining the bar area, tables, and patios so they are clean and sanitary at all times. Responsibilities: • Properly identify customers' age through identification cards, and serve alcoholic beverages following all applicable federal, state, local, and company rules and regulations • Receive payments and settle patron checks and tabs, as well as correctly record daily sales totals in point of sale system • Take patron orders and deliver a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages including wine, beer, liquor, and mixed drinks • Perform all restocking and cleaning activities as directed, including opening and closing duties • Purchase needed bar supplies, stock and track all wine, liquor, and beer stocks, and have a full supply of glassware on hand, notifying management of any supply issues or shortages Qualifications: • Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customers and coworkers • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent certification (GED) • Outstanding time management and organizational skills • Proven customer service experience with a strong patron-focused mentality • We prefer some experience working in the food service industry Compensation: $5.25 hourly
