Bartlett Roofing is recruiting an HR Generalist to our headquarters in Boise, ID to work under our leadership team in all aspects of Human Resources. We are a positive, uplifting, results-orientated team that is looking for someone like-minded to join on.
Responsibilities would include:
- Address employee relations issues, such as harassment allegations, work complaints, or other employee concerns.
- Analyze employment-related data and prepare required reports to ensure compliance
- Conduct reference or background checks on job applicants.
- Confer with management to develop or implement personnel policies or procedures.
- Process hiring-related paperwork.
- Interpret and explain human resources policies, procedures, laws, standards, or regulations.
- Maintain and update human resources documents, such as organizational charts, employee handbooks or directories, or performance evaluation forms.
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment and benefits laws and regulations.
- Maintain current knowledge of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and affirmative action guidelines and laws, such as the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
- Prepare or maintain employment records related to events such as hiring, termination, leaves, transfers, or promotions, using human resources management system software.
- Explain company personnel policies, benefits, and procedures to employees or job applicants.
- Administer and manage benefits programs.
- Answer questions regarding benefits eligibility, salaries, benefits, and other pertinent information.
- Examine employee files to answer inquiries and provide information for personnel actions.
- Gather personnel records from other departments or employees.
- Conduct exit interviews to identify reasons for employee termination, and ensure that necessary employment termination paperwork is completed.
- Complete any required insurance audits
Requirements:
- 2-5 years of HR experience
- Experience in data collection, entry, and reporting with great attention to detail and confidentiality
- Solid knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and regulations
- Computer savvy with a working knowledge of current technology
- Excellent math and numerical skills
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication abilities with aptitude in problem-solving
Pay: $20-$30 / hour DOE (depending on education)
