    Bartlett Roofing is recruiting an HR Generalist to our headquarters in Boise, ID to work under our leadership team in all aspects of Human Resources. We are a positive, uplifting, results-orientated team that is looking for someone like-minded to join on. 

    Responsibilities would include:

    • Address employee relations issues, such as harassment allegations, work complaints, or other employee concerns.
    • Analyze employment-related data and prepare required reports to ensure compliance
    • Conduct reference or background checks on job applicants.
    • Confer with management to develop or implement personnel policies or procedures.
    • Process hiring-related paperwork.
    • Interpret and explain human resources policies, procedures, laws, standards, or regulations.
    • Maintain and update human resources documents, such as organizational charts, employee handbooks or directories, or performance evaluation forms.
    • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment and benefits laws and regulations.
    • Maintain current knowledge of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and affirmative action guidelines and laws, such as the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
    • Prepare or maintain employment records related to events such as hiring, termination, leaves, transfers, or promotions, using human resources management system software.
    • Explain company personnel policies, benefits, and procedures to employees or job applicants.
    • Administer and manage benefits programs.
    • Answer questions regarding benefits eligibility, salaries, benefits, and other pertinent information.
    • Examine employee files to answer inquiries and provide information for personnel actions.
    • Gather personnel records from other departments or employees.
    • Conduct exit interviews to identify reasons for employee termination, and ensure that necessary employment termination paperwork is completed.
    • Complete any required insurance audits

    Requirements:

    • 2-5 years of HR experience
    • Experience in data collection, entry, and reporting with great attention to detail and confidentiality
    • Solid knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and regulations
    • Computer savvy with a working knowledge of current technology
    • Excellent math and numerical skills
    • Outstanding organizational and time management skills
    • Excellent communication abilities with aptitude in problem-solving

    Pay: $20-$30 / hour DOE (depending on education)

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
