Overview
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at our facility located in Bardstown, KY, 40004. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our 9 bottling lines in the Bottling manufacturing environment. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of our organization and play a vital role in keeping our operations running efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Perform regular maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment, programmable logic controllers (PLC), and variable frequency drives (VFD)
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues with machinery, utilizing your strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Identify and resolve PLC-related problems, utilizing your PLC troubleshooting skills
- Conduct machine safety inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols
- Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement preventive maintenance programs
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment
- Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, including work orders and equipment logs
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment
Qualifications
2+ years of prior Maintenance Technician or Mechanic work experience is required
Demonstrated mechanical troubleshooting skills to diagnose and repair machinery issues
PLC troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve PLC-related problems
Experience working in a manufacturing environment
Knowledge of machine safety inspections and adherence to safety regulations
Ability to work 2nd and/or 3rd shift as well as weekends
