WE ARE LOOKING FOR A RELIABLE SHOPKEEP WITH LOTS OF CHARACTER TO JOIN OUR TEAM. SHOPKEEP IS AN INCREDIBLY IMPORTANT POSITION AT THE NURSERY AND IS VERY OFTEN THE FIRST PERSON GUESTS, BOTH NEW AND OLD, WILL COME INTO CONTACT WITH. A SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL BE ABLE TO DEMONSTRATE A VERY HIGH STANDARD OF CUSTOMER SERVICE, EXHIBIT GREAT COMMUNICATION SKILLS, WILL BE ABLE TO SHOW AN ABILITY TO FOLLOW A SET VISION AND HOPEFULLY HAVE A GOOD KNOWLEDGE OF PLANTS. THEY SHOULD ALSO HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH RECEIVING PRODUCTS AND WORKING WITH INVENTORY. 

SHOPKEEP IS ALSO EXPECTED TO BE THE AMBASSADOR FOR ALL PRODUCTS FOUND IN THE SHOP. IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO BE EXCITED AND PASSIONATE ABOUT THE TYPE OF PRODUCTS WE CARRY. THE GIFT SHOP IS AT THE CENTER OF THE NURSERY AND IS A FAVORITE STOP FOR MANY OF OUR GUESTS. 

Qualities and qualifications that our ideal Shopkeep would exhibit would include, but are not limited to:

• Maintaining a clean, stylized shop environment, attending to the small details that make a large impact
• Able to receive and sticker inventory and appropriately display in the shop according to directions
• Able to learn and offer information about shop products when prompted by customers
• Greeting and assisting customers with any questions regarding shop and Nursery products
• Communicating customer requests and buying trends to better cater to our customers
• Taking care of plants within the shop
• Proper handling of transactions and maintaining a balanced register
• Foster a calm, positive atmosphere
