CAREER OPPORTUNITY: PAYROLL/HUMAN RESOURCES GENERALIST WITH BASCO IN MASON, OH

As the PAYROLL / HUMAN RESOURCE GENERALIST, your primary responsibility will be processing payroll for approximately 300 employees (and growing) located in three (3) manufacturing plants. Other HR responsibilities include handling day-to-day employee questions/needs, assisting with the hiring of quality employees, implementing Company policies and procedures, administration of employee benefits, and compliance of applicable laws and regulations.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION INCLUDE:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.
• 4-5 years of Payroll/HR experience in a manufacturing environment with hourly associates.
• Payroll processing, Paycom experience preferred.
• PHR/SPHR certification preferred.
• Excellent communication skills: written and oral.
• Full lifecycle recruiting experience, preferred.
• 401(k) administration a plus.
• Proficient computer skills; experience with Microsoft products, payroll software, and 401(k) systems.
• Understanding of Applicant Tracking Systems and HRIS systems integration.
• Solid understanding of COBRA, ERISA, FMLA, ADA, ACA, EEO, Worker’s Comp, Dept of Labor and related state and federal regulations required.
• Ability to travel as needed – 10 – 15%.
