    What Will I Do in this Position?

    As a Franchise Development Representative, you will be integrally involved in BaseCamp’s efforts to identify, qualify, and recruit new franchisees. Your responsibilities will span across the entire franchise development lifecycle, including proactive targeting and outreach, candidate screening and qualification, and Franchise Agreement issuance and execution. You will report directly to BaseCamp’s Director of Franchise Development as well as the Company’s Chief Experience Officer.

    Other responsibilities of the role will include:

    Helping build BaseCamp’s franchise development pipeline, including by proactively identifying and targeting high-quality prospects through cold lead outreach, list building, broker nurturing, and other efforts.

    Monitoring, managing, and reporting on lead flow and lead generation activities will be a component of these efforts.

    Serving as the first point of contact for prospective candidates, including managing a series of email and text campaigns.

    Conducting qualification calls with candidates to determine their suitability as franchise partners.

    Progressing candidate to the next step in the qualification process by coordinating and scheduling calls with the Director of Franchise Development.

    Helping develop and manage marketing materials and strategies to further BaseCamp’s franchise development efforts.

    Managing several administrative responsibilities that tie into the later stages of the franchise development process.

    Coordinating 2-day Discovery Day sessions in Salt Lake with qualified candidates and BaseCamp's executive team.

    Issuing, maintaining, and organizing franchise related documents and agreements, ensuring accurate record-keeping and accessibility of information.

    Assisting in the onboarding process for new franchisees, ensuring they have the necessary information, documents, and resources to start their journey successfully.

    Taking on other projects and responsibilities to help further BaseCamp's franchise development efforts.

    What Are We Looking For?

    3+ years of project management, sales, and/or administrative experience.

    Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    Strong project management skills with ability to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines as you manage 30-50 franchise candidates through the lead generation process.

    Highly organized and responsive, with a very strong attention to detail.

    Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to quickly build rapport and trust with franchise candidates as their first point of contact.

    Ability to make sound judgment calls on a candidate's qualifications.

    Ability to serve as a brand ambassador for Kid to Kid and Uptown Cheapskate.

    Strong written and verbal communication skills.

    Resourceful approach to problem solving, with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and effectively.

    Solid working knowledge of business software, including CRM applications, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace.

    What Else Do I Need to Know?

    This is a critical, yet entry level role, based at our headquarters in North Salt Lake, Utah at the base of the Wasatch mountains. In certain cases, BaseCamp may be willing to consider a remote or hybrid work arrangement. We offer competitive pay and benefits that include:

    Anticipated base salary of $50,000 - $60,000 plus commissions, depending on current base of experience
