D-BAT Virginia Beach is a premier baseball and softball training facility dedicated to developing players of all ages and skill levels. We provide high-quality instruction in a positive, high-energy environment that builds confidence, character, and skill development both on and off the field.

Position Overview

D-BAT Virginia Beach is seeking energetic, knowledgeable, and reliable Camps & Clinics Instructors to lead youth baseball and softball programs throughout the year.

This position requires availability:

Weekends during the school year (Especially Sundays)

Weekdays during summer months

Occasional evenings may be available based on programming

Priority given to candidates with experience in: Softball Pitching Softball Catching Baseball Pitching Baseball Catching

Instructors will lead camps, clinics, and specialty training sessions for athletes ages 4–14.

Responsibilities

Lead and assist with baseball and softball camps and clinics

Teach fundamentals including hitting, fielding, throwing, pitching, and catching

Create a fun, safe, and engaging learning environment

Maintain structured practice plans and station rotations

Provide constructive feedback and positive encouragement to athletes

Communicate effectively with parents and staff

Ensure facility cleanliness and equipment organization during programs

Qualifications

Playing experience in baseball or softball (high school required; college preferred)

Coaching or instructional experience preferred

Strong communication and leadership skills

Ability to manage groups of youth athletes

Energetic, dependable, and team-oriented

Passion for developing young athletes
