Job Description
A Project Controls Intern is needed for a portfolio of projects surrounding project management. This is a part-time position for students located in Raleigh, NC. The position will report to a leadership team member and interacts with multiple departments across a wide range of projects. The final deliverable will be a comprehensive exit presentation covering the projects completed.
Responsibilities
Support internal and external projects
Support detailed schedule development based on project understanding from stakeholders and team members
Update project progress and perform analysis of bottlenecks, trends, and critical path of processes
Track, analyze and present project status data to team members
Identify and communicate project risks and develop mitigation plans
Develop custom projects reports as needed to facilitate project discussions
Provide additional support as required/needed by the project manager(s)
Qualifications
Minimum Education
Preferable Experience
Familiar with scheduling software such as Primavera, MS Project, Monte Carlo simulations
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint
Previous experience related to project management
