    Job Description

    A Project Controls Intern is needed for a portfolio of projects surrounding project management. This is a part-time position for students located in Raleigh, NC. The position will report to a leadership team member and interacts with multiple departments across a wide range of projects. The final deliverable will be a comprehensive exit presentation covering the projects completed.  

    Responsibilities 

    • Support internal and external projects 

    • Support detailed schedule development based on project understanding from stakeholders and team members 

    • Update project progress and perform analysis of bottlenecks, trends, and critical path of processes  

    • Track, analyze and present project status data to team members 

    • Identify and communicate project risks and develop mitigation plans 

    • Develop custom projects reports as needed to facilitate project discussions 

    • Provide additional support as required/needed by the project manager(s)

     

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Minimum Education 

    • Obtaining a four-year relevant engineering degree, rising senior preferable

      

    Preferable Experience  

    • Familiar with scheduling software such as Primavera, MS Project, Monte Carlo simulations 

    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint 

    • Previous experience related to project management
