    Summary

    As the Batbox HR Coordinator based out of our flagship Addison Batbox location, no two days are quite the same. One moment you're welcoming a new hire and setting them up in our systems, the next you're prepping payroll, coordinating interviews, or troubleshooting a missing Food Handler cert. You’re the go-to for all things team-related - answering benefit questions, keeping R365 humming, and making sure every venue team member starts off on the right foot. You support the General Manager behind the scenes helping the venue run smoothly while making Batbox a great place to work. Whether you’re organizing a birthday shoutout, following up on a safety tip, or updating the job board, you’re creating a culture that’s energized, organized, and people-first.     Reporting To

    The HR Coordinator reports to the Batbox Addison General Manager (“GM”)

    Job Responsibilities (include but not limited to)

    Recruitment & Onboarding

    Lead venue-level hiring efforts - post jobs, screen candidates, coordinate interviews, check references, and prepare offer letters

    Set up new hires in our HRIS Restaurant365 (R365), monitor onboarding, and ensure required training is completed

    Guide team members through the new hire process and questions with clarity and care

    People Systems & Compliance

    Own all People-related updates in R365 - from team changes to offboarding, certifications, reporting and auditing

    Ensure all required certifications (TABC, I-9s, Food Handler, CPR/First Aid) are added to R365 and up-to-date

    Maintain accurate and visible communication boards with compliance postings and Batbox updates

    Process payroll and end-of-employment details in R365, with oversight from the GM

    Track and report People KPIs like hiring sources, open roles, turnover, and retention

    Team Engagement & Experience

    Support team culture and engagement activities within the venue

    Help activate surveys, celebrations, and listening sessions

    Be a visible culture champion - living the Batbox values of Be a Good Human, Amp the Experience, Lead Together, Level Up and inspiring others to do the same

    Health & Safety

    Serve as the Batbox venue Health & Safety Officer - track concerns, follow up with leadership, and document actions taken

    Act as a key member of the venue’s emergency response team

    Venue Operations Support

    Compile reports for the GM (guest reviews, team updates, etc.) and other GM requests

    Order uniforms and office supplies, keeping par levels in check

    Process non–food and beverage invoices

    Keys to Success

    1+ year of HR experience - ideally in a customer service environment . Ideally you have worked within a restaurant or hospitality environment.

    A strong communicator who thrives in a collaborative, people-focused team

    Organized and detail-driven, with the ability to manage systems, schedules, and shifting priorities

    Proactive and resourceful - you love improving processes and solving problems independently

    Comfortable with tech and curious to learn new tools, especially HR or operations platforms

    Brings a service mindset, positive energy to every shift

    Actively contribute to every meeting by sharing ideas & celebrating others

    Excited to grow into a future role in HR, venue leadership, or operations behind the scenes

    Physical & Operational Requirements

    Comfortable working at a computer for extended periods

    Occasionally assists with event setup or venue logistics

    Able to lift and move items up to 25 lbs (e.g., supplies, signage, light equipment)

    May run local errands - valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
