We provide a 6-month competitive wage and incentive guarantee so that you have the necessary time to learn our business. Our average hourly sales associate earns over $18 per hour in wages and incentives, with some above $23. Our highly competitive compensation package consists of base pay, monthly bonus and individual performance incentives.

Our locally owned franchise group has 12 Retail sales and customer service locations in Oregon and SW Washington, expanding to 13 locations in the Fall of 2021. No prior experience with batteries or light bulbs is required as we will take care of the training, all you need is a back ground in customer service and selling. As part of our investment in your long term success with our company we require all new sales and customer service associates to participate in paid training in our Portland training location for 2 to 3 weeks in order to learn our products, systems, customer service expectations and sales incentive opportunities available to you.

DUTIES:

CUSTOMER SERVICE / SELLING

• Demonstrate a customer first mentality
• Greet customers, determine needs and ask questions
• Look for additional opportunities and needs
• Sell add-on items, participate in retail store and commercial sales activities to achieve sales goals and bonuses
• Operate technology based Point of Sale system to complete sales transactions
• In bound phone sales / service
• Install large and small batteries in various devices
• Function as a team player

MERCHANDISING / INVENTORY

• Inventory stock maintenance and management
• Ship and or deliver to commercial accounts
• Maintain clean and full store appearance
• Build displays; to better market seasonal products
• Prepare store for daily opening and closing

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be able to work a 40 hour work week that include Saturday and Sunday shifts.
• Good listening and verbal communication skills
• Sales and customer service
• Ability to gain quick and solid understanding of company's electronic POS and cross reference system
• Ability to multitask effectively and prioritize, follow up, and meet deadlines with multiple tasks and projects
• Ability to calculate simple math and percentages
• Strong eyesight and technical aptitude required for various types of repair work we offer
• Valid driver's license and ability to get to area stores
• Must be able to lift 50 + lbs. to eye level
