Position: Head Baker
Location: Plano, Texas area
We are looking for Baking Passion!
An experienced Head Baker who can prepare a variety of artisan breads, rolls, croissants, Danish pastries, cookies and other sweet goods.
The ideal candidate will be well-versed in Commercial baking with a passion for delicious creations.
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of Baking experience (Culinary degree preferred)
- Lead and manager the production of all Bakery menu items, following company standards and recipes.
- Participate in the menu development and recipe standardization of new menu items
- Create high-volume Breads and desserts for special dietary requests (Non-GMO, Vegan, Gluten-free, Kosher, Halal, Dairy-free, etc...)
- Ensure compliance with all hygiene and food safety standards in all stages of food preparation.
- Maintain proper AIB storage of all bakery food items, including labeling and dating of items.
- Identify the most appropriate supplier for the designated product, determine availability, and negotiate price.
- Control food costs and labor cost within budgetary constraints while maintaining consistent food quality.
