    Job Description

    Baxter Restoration is continuing to grow, and we are actively searching for a team-oriented Human Resources Generalist & Office Coordinator who is driven to help those in need through the services that we provide to our customers by supporting our internal team. 

    THIS IS A SALARIED POSITION AND THE PAY RANGE FOR THIS POSITION IS $45K = $55K DEPENDENT ON EXPERIENCE. 

    This is a newly created position and we are looking for a person who likes to be able to make an impactful contribution day in and day out.     MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES  

    • To lead/manage the recruiting process, typically for hourly staff supporting multiple statewide locations
    • Support hiring managers in scheduling phone screens and interviews with prospective candidates for open positions utilizing ATS (Applicant Tracking Software)
    • Employee relations management – to serve as a point of contact for employee's questions, issues of workplace concerns
    • Benefits enrollment coordination – newly hired employees and open enrollment
    • Background Checks, Driver's License verification, and drug testing – all processes and procedures
    • File, retrieve and maintain employee files, records, and reports
    • Conduct New Employee Orientation
    • Unemployment compensation claims
    • Workers compensation claims
    • Schedule benefits enrollment and performance evaluations for newly hired employees
    • Coordinate the performance review process across all departments – a focal point review system – creating a structure for administration and assisting managers and supervisors in building budgeting tools to forecast the associated cost(s)
    • Enter new employees into the payroll system – ADP
    • Coordinate the on-boarding of new hires – to include establishing training schedules with hiring managers, equipment needs, cell phones, laptops, setting up of email, ordering business cards, and establishing access to software systems as needed
    • Offboarding of terminated employees to include exit interviews for voluntary terminations
    • Office celebration/event planning
    • Responsibilities associated with supporting an office of 40+ staff to include multiple offices remotely located 
    • Oversee and maintain office equipment for uninterrupted function, identify and fulfill office supply needs, maintain and manage vendors. (Printer Company, T-Mobile, RingCentral, health insurance, Indeed, Zip Recruiter, Dell, etc.)
    • Order business cards 
    • Uniform management and purchase oversight 
    • Approve timesheet for cleaning personnel and order cleaning items as needed
    • Order e-passes for all locations, update epass info and dispute epass errors when needed
    • Vehicle insurance - track employees who use their own vehicles for work
    • IT support responsibilities to include office-oriented hardware, software, and network issues

     

    QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

    • College Degree – focus in human resources, business management preferred
    • An SPHR or PHR designation is preferred
    • 5-7 years experience in a like or similar position
    • Administrative writing skills
    • Microsoft Office skills
    • Basic knowledge of Google docs
    • Managing processes
    • Organization and professionalism
    • Problem-solving
    • Excellent verbal communication
    • High attention to detail
