    BAYSIDE PURPOSE: To help people know God, find family, live in freedom, and discover their purpose

    HOSPITALITY PURPOSE: To create welcoming environments where people want to come back to church

    POSITION STATUS: Non-Exempt

    WORK SCHEDULE: Full Time, 40 hours

    REPORTS TO: Hospitality Director

    THIS POSITION SERVES: North River Campus

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Support and Cultivate Bayside Mission and Vision

    • Lead and manager Volunteers for Greeter, Usher, and Behind the Scenes Teams

      • Relationally connect, pastor and care for teams
      • Promote and encourage community and team building
      • Weekly team huddles before services
      • Communicate and disseminate pertinent information to assigned teams
      • Schedule, staff and execute weekend services and events as assigned
      • Recruit, onboard and train volunteers
      • Develop leaders, trainers and coaches
    • Planning Center

      • Follow up, manage and complete assigned Workflows in the greeter, usher, and behind the scenes ministries
      • Ensure databases for assigned teams are kept current with PCO
    • Weekend Responsibilities

      • Point of Contact for My Place as needed
      • Assist with new volunteer orientation and training
      • Oversee and maintain Volunteer Central
        • Volunteer Check-in
        • Setup for weekend services and events
        • Order food and supplies
    • General Supply Management (excluding cafe)

      • Purchase and maintain supplies needed for weekend services and events including volunteer supplies, auditorium, foyer and other inventory as assigned
      • Keep accurate purchasing and budget records
    • Steward use of Bayside credit card and Nexonia receipts

    • Ensure staffing of Manatee County Sheriff as needed for weekend services and events

    • Support Director of Hospitality in carrying and communicating vision

    • Assist in preparing and executing weekend services and events as needed

    • Other tasks assigned by Director of Hospitality

    PERFORMANCE MEASURES:

    1. Effectively execute and create welcoming services and events where people want to come back to church
    2. Adequately staff assigned teams for weekend services and events
    3. Effectively develop leaders, coaches and trainers for assigned teams
    4. Effectively encourage, train and equip volunteers for assigned teams

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    CHARACTER & CHEMISTRY

    • Personal integrity in all areas of life
    • Must have completed the Growth Track at Bayside or moving forward in doing so.
    • Regularly attends worship services with their family
    • Is an active participant in a group and is a regular tither
