    The College Mental Health Programs (CMHP) at the Center for Psychiatric Rehabilitation within Sargent College at Boston University (https://cpr.bu.edu/cmhp/) invites applications for a full-time Training Associate position beginning in Summer 2021.

     

    CMHP at BU is educational programming for individuals who live with a serious mental illness, and the Training Associate engages students affirmatively and skillfully across social, cultural, and philosophical differences through teaching, coaching, advising, and advocating.

     

    The Training Associate will coordinate and develop relationships with academic, health, and community resources to build a repository of student supports as well as connections with future potential collaborators. The Training Associate is expected to engage with co-curricular events within the Center and across the University as well as assist in the development of innovative curriculum and programming.

     

    We seek candidates with a diversity of experience and perspectives who have a broad knowledge within the field of counseling, education, psychology social work, and/or rehabilitation and whose teaching pedagogies encourage full participation.

     

    Required Skills

    • Masters Degree in counseling, education, psychology social work, or rehabilitation
    • At least 1 year of work experience post-degree
