Job Summary:
Under the direct supervision of the Data Reporting and Performance Manager, the Data Analyst will collaboratively work with Mobile Leadership on software development, implementing and managing routines and workflows of all our core software applications. The Data Analyst will ensure that the internal database systems are adequately implemented and maintained. The Data Analyst will serve as the point of contact for dashboard management and reports related to mobile operations.
What You´ll Do:
Data Development / Architecture
Assists in software applications maintenance to ensure the software accurately collects and stores data on overall applicable operations.
Assists in establishing, modifying, implementing, and monitoring systems and procedures to enhance timely and efficient workflow, escalating issues to Data Reporting & Performance Manager.
Will manage project transitions between software applications as requested.
Provides customer service to mobile data requests, in partnership with Data Reporting Manager.
Utilizes the support of approved third-party contractors as needed.
Data Reporting
Supports operations and conducts data analytics in coordination with management or others to identify goals, time frames, budget, staffing requirements, and allotment of resources.
Implements data standards and deploys automation tools to extract, synthesize, and validate data from different sources and transform.
Provides reports on project status; provides additional project documentation as needed.
Monitors progress, accuracy, risk, and completion. Conducts quality controls to verify the accuracy of reports.
Provides data-based trends, recommendations and resolutions to the management team and provides details as requested.
Compliance and Documentation:
Handles data requests and releases, including confidential or sensitive information in an appropriate manner.
Safeguards confidentiality; adheres to HIPAA policies.
Exercises the highest discretion and ethical prudence for records and for participant interactions.

What You´ll Need:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Two years or more experience in a professional data analyst capacity, preferred.
Proficiency of and professional experience with Power BI / SQL / GBQ / Salesforce / Excel and other applicable data systems, with ability to create and optimize queries.
Experience in mental health, non-profit, and/or healthcare industries.
Strong analytical and logical thinking skills with ability to identify trends, draw conclusions, and be creative and open for novel data patterns and solutions.
Knowledge of Orange County resources (housing, substance abuse, mental health, shelters, etc.)
Demonstrated sensitivity to multicultural populations and issues is required.
Ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
Effective written and verbal communication.
Proficient in other technology platforms in addition to data analyses.
Excellent data visualization: demonstrated ability to capture a story with data.
Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
