Utilizing more than 165 direct vendor integrations, big data, artificial intelligence and process automation, BeSmartee’s Mortgage POS, TPO Platform and Home Equity POS offer high-touch, end-to-end production experiences that shorten lending cycles and reduce costs, taking today’s originators and borrowers deeper into the mortgage process, faster.

We are looking for a PHP Developer who will work on a variety of projects, ranging from internal custom software updates to product development needs for new projects. To succeed in this role, you should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, results focused environment and be able to manage individual projects and parallel development. The right candidate is hungry for growth and learning, detail- and process-oriented, and understands the importance of maintaining high standards for quality/testing. This individual also plays a key role in the construction and maintenance of internal departmental coding standards, best practices and delivers all work accordingly.

All roles are fully remote with the voluntary option to work out of our California headquarters.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Design
  • Work closely with sales, implementation and other departments to develop and document technical designs from functional requirements/specifications, considering architectural, as well as programmatic aspects of the agreed-upon solution.
  • Produce specifications and determine technical feasibility.
• Development
  • Develop software based on approved design conforming to the SDLC (software development lifecycle).
  • Write new software and modify existing applications based on project requirements.
  • Integrate with third-party APIs.
  • Build high-quality, scalable and robust software that complies with coding standards and technical design.
• Testing
  • Perform testing as required & document results.
• Deployment
  • Follow appropriate change management and deployment procedures.
• Support
  • Provide support to applications during and after deployment. Support technical team members, but also non-technical team members as required.

WHO YOU ARE:

• 4+ years of experience with Apache, MySql, PHP
• Expertise in XML, JSON, JQuery, BootStrap
• Source Control: Git
• Additional: SOAP, API, Github, AJAX, HTML, CSS
• Self-motivated to meet deadlines while collaborating effectively as part of a larger team
• Strong organizational skills, including the ability to balance multiple projects and manage time efficiently
