    Job Description

    We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Public Health Analyst to support the CDC's evaluation of the Federal government's COVID-19 vaccination efforts.  The Public Health Analyst will be on a team supporting the programs and projects within the Immunization Information Systems Support Branch of the National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases. 

    Initial work location is remote, due to COVID-19 work restrictions on the CDC campus. Once COVID-19 restrictions are lifted, this role will report and transition to the Roybal Campus located in Atlanta, Georgia.  This role is 100% at the customer’s location.

    Job duties include but are not limited to:

    • Provide advice, technical assistance and leadership in planning and developing communication and marketing priorities, campaigns, strategies, and practices for effective communication and marketing directed toward professional and lay audiences, including underserved populations and populations at risk.  
    • Support the compilation and organization of materials, records, and correspondence.  
    • Establish and develop methods for making information available through a variety of platforms (SharePoint, OneNote or other) as appropriate for each audience identified with a need to know or have access.  
    • Conduct research and collaborate on the development and evaluation of immunizing agents. ​​​​​​​
    • Collaborate with other management and staff on cross-cutting issues.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Science, or related field with a minimum of 5 years of experience
    • Experience with conducting data management and quantitative analysis research
    • Experience in implementing best practices in a public health setting
    • Proficiency in analyzing data from a variety of sources and developing high level summary reports
    • Experience with communicating through presentations and written reports to executive management
    • Proficiency in developing and maintaining productive working relationships with multidisciplinary staff including executive management
    • Excellent organization and communication skills
    • Experience working with/in the CDC
    • Must be a U.S. citizen
