Job description

We are looking for enthusiastic bartenders with at least 2 years experience in high volume and in a extremely fast paced environment Also be able to provide an excellent guest member experience. We are the only place in the south that has a real swim up bar and the views are breathtaking. Imagine yourself in Jamaica or the Bahamas!! Now imagine yourself the swim up bar? Compensation includes hourly and 20% service charge on all checks with the option of additional gratuity if they choose. The position is mainly seasonal from Apr-Oct with the option to stay on and work inside once the swim up bar closes.

Responsibilities

Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons

Interact with customers, take orders for food and beverage, serve snacks and drinks

Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations

Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails

Present bar menu

Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age

Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies

Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience

Comply with all food and beverage regulations

Skills

Resume and proven working experience as a bartender

Excellent knowledge of in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks

Computer literacy

Knowledge of a second language is a plus

Positive attitude and excellent communication skills

Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean

Able to open and close the bar per companies guidelines.

Needs to posses Tips and Food handlers certification, before being considered.
