We are hiring for our Lagoon Lifeguard position at the entry level position. If you are interested, but are not currently certified, please sign up at our front desk. If you are already certified, please send over you certification when applying.

Beachwalk Lifeguard Class Date: Friday, February 23rd- Sunday, February 25th

Location: 100 Beachwalk Club Drive, Saint Johns, FL 32259

Class Cost: $199

Come join us and become a Beachwalk Lifeguard for the 2024 season. Lifeguarding promotes teamwork and strengthens the fundamentals of water safety with our residents. If you are 16 years or older and looking for a fun summer job, with rewarding experiences, lifeguarding is a great place to start.

Class Schedule

Each Day of the Session is Required for Completion

Feb. 23, 2024 Friday 4:00pm-8:00pm

Feb. 24, 2024 Saturday 9:00am-5:00pm

Feb. 25, 2024 Sunday 9:00am-5:00pm

Deadline: February 22nd, 2024 Maximum Class Size: 12

Refunds are only given if a class is canceled due to low enrollment. No refunds will be given to any students that miss any dates or fail the class.

Class Prerequisites:

(Must be completed before the end of the last day of class)

250 Meter swim non-stop

50 Meter swim with a rescue tube

Retrieval of a 10-pound object from a depth of 12 feet

Tread water without the use of arms for 1 minute and 30 seconds

Beachwalk cannot guarantee that every participant will pass the Lifeguard Class and Beachwalk does not guarantee that participants will be hired after passing the class.

Participants must be 16 years old before the last day of the class to be eligible to be hired by Beachwalk as a Lifeguard.
