Job Purpose:
The Clinical Applications Specialist/Trainer (CAS) is the facilitator between the customer, the project installation team and the technical services department. This position facilitates the clinical workflow aspects of the solution provided to the customer and will conduct customer needs assessments, track project status and train the end users. Clinical Applications Specialist will be responsible for assisting in the pre-sale needs assessment as well the implementation and training for the on-going use of the solution.

Required Skills & Abilities:

· Knowledge:
o Superior knowledge and understanding of clinical applications such as Nurse Call Systems.
o Health Care Clinical Application experience a definite plus.
o Teaching or Training Experience a definite plus.

o Demonstrated ability to Train and communicate effectively with multiple types of end-user customers.
o Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in difficult situations with employees with various personalities and emotions.
o Must understand implicit instructions and react favorably in all work situations. Must be mentally adaptable and flexible in dealing with a variety of people. Is frequently called upon to handle difficult situations and be held accountable for project outcomes.

o Must be able to communicate providing verbal feedback in a professional manner.
Education, License and Experience:
· Education:
o High School Diploma or approved equivalent.
· Experience:
o Three years of experience in a health care facility or teaching position is desirable.
Physical Requirements:
· Requires prolonged sitting, standing, some bending, stooping, and stretching. Requires manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination for data input.
· Occasionally lifts and carries items weighing up to 20 pounds.
· Job sites will have a variety of environmental factors including but not limited to noise, dust, and temperature changes.
· Work environment can be an office environment, medical facility, educational facility, or a customer site under construction, renovation, or warehouse space.
· Must maintain a clear background check in order to satisfy customer jobsite badging requirements.
· Must be willing to submit to all vaccinations and screening tests required for customer jobsite badging protocol.
· Consistent, reliable, and timely attendance
· Maintain a clear drug and alcohol screening protocol.

Travel Requirements:
· 20 -30% Travel required as needed.
