Due to our rapid growth, we are excited to announce several opportunities to join our rapidly expanding sales team of Account Managers throughout the United States.
The Account Manager is a key company representative and the first point of contact for all referral sources to Beacon such as Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Registered Nurses, Care Coordinators, Hospitals and manufacturer representatives. The Account Manager will be responsible for establishing long-term, trusting relationships and generating referral sources among several specialties within various healthcare settings including Rheumatology, Gastroenterology, Neurology, Dermatology, Psychiatry and Infectious Disease.

Role and Responsibilities:
- Achieve territory business goals and corporate objectives
- Establish relationships with new and existing accounts
- Research and identify new referral sources
- Develop and implement a business plan for the territory consistent with company goals
- Identify and attend conferences for the purpose of education and networking
- Maintain an accurate and current CRM database of all account activity
- Determine and adjust appropriate territory-specific strategies and tactics, targeting high potential accounts and customers and appropriately prioritizing call planning based on customer potential
- Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of opportunity to meet and exceed sales quotas
- Maintain in depth knowledge of the product set and unique selling points
- Effectively support clients with any challenging requests, escalating issues as needed, and provide tailored solutions to meet customer needs and objectives
- Collaborate with sales team to identify/grow opportunities within the territory
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders on the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives with a focus on customer support and continued business growth
- Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts) and prepare reports on account status
- Travel within the territory for normal business with occasional travel outside the territory for other business events
- Demonstrate high ethical and professional standards at all times
- Abide by the Corporate Code of Conduct and Business Ethics and all Company policies and procedures
- Adhere to all administrative requirements, including but not limited to expense reporting, call reporting, and business planning
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required. A focus in biological science or related discipline preferred
- 2+ years of sales experience required. Proven success in a professional, quota-driven account manager role will be considered. 2+ years of medical/pharmaceutical sales experience preferred.
- Strong proficiency in developing and maintaining positive, ethical customer relationships with client-focused solutions
- Proven ability to manage multiple account initiatives at one time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to adapt approach to meet and exceed business objectives when faced with challenges or customer concerns
- Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities
- Ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders with both strong verbal and written communication skills
- Track record of sustained high performance in current or previous positions and strong aptitude for learning
- Strong business acumen, analytical skills, and ability to understand market opportunities
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
- Demonstrated ability to work in a highly collaborative team environment
- Experience in planning, organization, and project management, including creating and executing business plans
- Ability to thrive in a culture that is performance based, fast paced, and results oriented
- Knowledge of the business and market in the assigned territory preferred
- Proficient computer skills, including MS Office, sales database and web-based applications
- Ability to travel as required, which may include overnight and/or weekend travel
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required
