In this position as an Estate Planning Drafter, you will undertake a range of responsibilities to support clients with their estate and long-term care planning needs. Responsibilities: • Draft and review legal documents and forms such as wills, powers of attorney, trusts, and deeds to ensure accuracy and consistency in accordance with the relevant area of law • Supervise the printing of documents and maintain organized filing systems for signing appointments • Create a comprehensive Client Information and Asset List by compiling client details and assets • Aid in trust funding by executing change forms, liaising with professionals and companies, overseeing necessary modifications, and providing follow-up assistance to clients as required • Accompany attorneys to appointments, engage with clients and referral sources, and act as a witness and/or notary during signing sessions • Conduct online and courthouse records research, including investigating deeds, tax assessment cards, and gas leases Qualifications: • An associate degree or some college is preferred • 1 - 2 years experience in estate planning required - experience with WealthCounsel preferred. • Experience with drafting software preferred • Display excellent written, problem-solving, and verbal communication skills • Proven ability to handle high-volume workloads • History of being deadline-driven and extremely organized • Maintain punctuality with all tasks and responsibilities Compensation: $19 - $21 hourly DOE
