Our company is currently seeking a Bookkeeper to join our team! You will be responsible for preparing and examining financial records for various companies, preparing payroll and quarterly payroll reports as well as, year end payroll reports, You will reconcile bank accounts and investment accounts.
Responsibilities:
- Obtain primary financial data for accounting records
- Compute and record numerical data
- Check the accuracy of business transactions
- Perform data entry and administrative duties .
- Prepare weekly, bi weekly, semi monthly and monthly client payrolls.
- Prepare payroll tax deposits, quarterly payroll reports and year end payroll reports.
- Prepare 1099s for bookkeeping clients
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in accounting, finance, or other related fields
- Fundamental knowledge of GAAP
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Experience with Sage, Quickbooks desktop and online, Excel and Word
- Strong organizational skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
