Job Description
Beamline Welding Machine Operator sets up, programs, runs, and maintains automated welding robots, focusing on loading/unloading beams, reading blueprints, monitoring weld quality with gauges, performing basic maintenance, troubleshooting errors, and ensuring safety to produce consistent, high-quality beam components on the welding robotic cell, requiring basic MIG/TIG skills and strong attention to detail.
Qualifications
Qualifications :
Education: High school diploma or GED; vocational training a plus.
Experience: Previous experience with stamping and Roll forming presses and manufacturing.
Technical Skills: Ability to read blueprints/technical drawings, strong mechanical aptitude, knowledge of measuring tools.
Soft Skills: Detail-oriented, good problem-solving, teamwork, physical stamina (lifting, standing )
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols.
Mechanical aptitude and technical understanding of automated systems.
Basic manual welding skills (MIG/TIG) often required, certificates is a plus
Strong attention to detail and precision.
Problem-solving skills for troubleshooting.
Physical ability to lift and move parts.
