  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    We are seeking a contract role to provide electronic document control for the entry, approval routing and releasing of our quality/company documentation in JAMA software system.  This is contract role that will last 9-12 months.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Edits format of quality/company documentation. Interfaces with engineers and engineering managers to edit/format documentation.
    • Verifies change requests are in the proper state and implements into documentation.
    • Perform as primary focal point, coordinating, tracking and reporting status for inquiries and problem resolution during the pre-release, release, and revision of quality/company documentation.
    • Operates within a Scaled Agile Framework environment and performs related duties to enable the team to work efficiently.
    • Assists in tracking action items, and tasks in the change management tools.
    • Generally works on assignments which are given in terms of objectives to be accomplished and priorities to be followed. Requires judgment in resolving issues or in making recommendations.
    • Normally receives little instruction on routine work, general instructions on new projects or assignments. Work is reviewed for soundness of judgment and overall adequacy and accuracy.
    • Maintain Quality Document Register

     

    KNOWLEDGE, TOOLS AND SKILLS  

    • Must demonstrate the ability to communicate with a wide variety of technical and management personnel.
    • Must be technically savvy and able to learn a new system and process workflow quickly
    • Must possess extensive PC tool knowledge in all Microsoft Office applications.
    • Must demonstrate initiative and think strategically when faced with challenges.
    • Must have the desire and willingness to commit to continued learning.
    • Experience in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint is required.

     

    BASIC REQUIREMENTS  

    • High School Diploma or AA/AS degree or other 2-year post high school training with a minimum of 1 years of relevant experience
    • Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident “Green Card” holder
    • Must demonstrate the ability to communicate with a wide variety of technical and management personnel.
    • Must possess extensive PC tool knowledge in all Microsoft Office applications.
    • Must have the desire and willingness to commit to continued learning.
    • Experience in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint is required.

     

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS  

    • Experience in Jama (or document management system) is desired.
