Job Description

Full service dog care center in Brookline is in need of handlers with experience to help with our busy daycare. Duties will include supervising playtime, feeding, giving medications, walking, and cleaning/sanitizing. 

Applicants must:

• Work well both independently and as part of a team
• Interact well with human and canine clients
• Be able to work closing and weekend shifts (shift ends at 9pm) PART-TIME ONLY
• Understand basic aspects of dog behavior and socialization
• Be motivated to learn more about dog behavior and handling

Experience handling dogs individually as well as in groups a big plus!

Qualifications

• Being able to confidently and safely handle play groups up to 30 dogs

• Cleaning/sanitizing dog areas properly

• Some daycare handling experience is a PLUS or at the minimum owning a pet

• Ability to learn and adapt to stressful situations
