Job Summary

Greet, communicate and accommodate guests. Hosts will be our guests first impression. They should have a warm and friendly manner when greeting, seating and communicating with guests.

Responsibilities:

Greet guests at the front door

Seat guests and assign tables to a bartender

Maintain notes and lists regarding bartender seating rotation

Answer phones

Have knowledge of the restaurant’s location, service and hours

Accommodate to our ability any ADA requirements for guests

Input and modify reservations

Ability to properly explain our limitations when guest’s requests cannot be accommodated

Closing duties include cleaning bathrooms, bar area and service area trash and service area cleaning and restocking

Bus, Clean and Sanitize Tables and Bar

Qualifications:

Ability to carry at least 25 pounds

Ability to climb a step stool / ladder

Strong communication skills

Strong organizational skills

Ability to react quickly to peak service times

Ability to stand for long periods of time

Ability to go up and down flights of stairs throughout the shift, sometimes continually

Ability to multitask

Ability to reach, bend, squat and lift while on the shift
