JOB SUMMARY
Welcome to the Kids Club Team at Bears Fit. You have been selected to play an integral role in providing an exceptional childcare experience for our members and guests, and in doing so, contribute to the overall success of the company. Our Kids Club Team is patient, attentive, and provides a fun and safe experience for the children they oversee.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Kids Club Team member, you will be responsible for:
Welcoming parents and children to the Kids Club
Interacting with the children to ensure they have a pleasant experience
Cleaning toys and surfaces during each shift
Explaining and enforcing our Kids Club policies to parents
Taking payment before children are dropped off and updating billing as needed
Signing up new members on recurring services
Calling or locating parents for diaper changes or behavioral issues
Providing constant care to eliminate accidents, injuries and unhappy children
Completing Behavioral Reports and Accident Reports, as needed
Assisting members and guest with all inquiries and concerns
Reporting all issues in timely manner
Contributing to maintaining the club-wide standards of cleanliness
Assisting other departments when necessary
Attending all required meetings
WORK SCHEDULE
Your daily schedule will vary throughout the week depending on the needs of the club, the staff, and the members. Special events, promotions, and other demands will require some early mornings, late nights and weekends.
Employees are required to keep their availability up to date for each day of the week, request time off at least 2 weeks in advance and notify the Operations Manager of any shift changes or swaps.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
General understanding of Fitness Industry
Ability to work with computers
Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills
Must be a team player
Adhere to meal and rest break periods and must clock in and out for all shift times
Experience with children
Reliable transportation
Flexible availability
Demonstrate a positive, open and cheerful attitude
Reliable, dependable, and accountable to themselves and the organization
Passion for fitness
High school degree or GED required
Current CPR/AED Certification
Must complete company HR trainings
Must be able to lift 45 pounds
Typing, using the telephone and computer mouse
Frequent sitting, standing, walking, and stair climbing
