Overview: Optimum Body Shop is seeking a passionate and licensed Beauty & Wellness Specialist with expertise in cosmetology and therapeutic massage. This unique hybrid role is ideal for professionals who are committed to enhancing client well-being through both aesthetic and therapeutic services. You’ll work in a collaborative, client-focused environment that values innovation, care, and holistic health.

Cosmetology Services:

Perform customized HydraFacial treatments using HydraFacial MD technology.

Deliver expert gel manicures and pedicures, including shaping, cuticle care, and polish application.

Provide Japanese head spa treatments to promote scalp and hair health.

Offer precision haircuts for all ages and hair types, including styling and consultations.

Conduct professional waxing services for face and body with a focus on hygiene and comfort.

Recommend retail products and aftercare tailored to individual client needs.

Maintain a clean, sanitized, and welcoming salon environment.

Massage Therapy Services:

Administer therapeutic massage techniques for clients with orthopedic conditions and chronic pain.

Conduct assessments and develop personalized treatment plans.

Utilize a variety of techniques such as deep tissue, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, and sports massage.

Document patient progress and adjust treatments as needed.

Collaborate with other wellness professionals to ensure comprehensive care.

Qualifications:

Valid Cosmetology License and Massage Therapy License in New Mexico.

1+ year(s) of experience in a salon, spa, or clinical setting preferred.

Certified or experienced in HydraFacial technology (training available).

Skilled in gel nail application, cutting hair (especially men's) and waxing.

Experience or certification in Japanese head spa techniques is a strong plus.

Strong understanding of anatomy and physiology as it relates to massage therapy.

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.

Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required.
