We are looking for weekday after school babysitting for our 6 year old and 9 year old. We are flexible on which days of the week and exact times. We live walking distance from DePaul and both kids' schools are within 10 minute drive from DePaul. I will be working remotely for the foreseeable future, so if an applicant prefers minimal time commitment (i.e., a few relatively easy hours a week), I would love some logistical help with pick up but if applicant prefers more hours, very open to giving additional hours (i.e.,more traditional babysitting between 3-6) Our son (9) is very thoughtful, kind and funny. He enjoys reading, art and soccer. Our daughter (6) is very imaginative, sweet and enthusiastic. She enjoys imaginative play, stories, art and outdoor activities. A high priority will be assisting with picking one or both kids up from their respective schools and potentially driving the kids to and from after-school activities. So any applicant must have a clean driving record, is comfortable driving kids (and ideally has their own car). Only interested in applicants that are fully vaccinated (and taking reasonable covid precautions). We (parents) are fully vaccinated and when the vaccine is authorized for children under 12, will be vaccinated our children.
