The Manhattan office of a booming Real Estate practice is recruiting for another Transactional Associate Attorney to join their real estate/transactional group.

 
Responsibilities:

• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating retail leases with a focus on tenant representation.
  
• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating ancillary documents - for example, term sheet/letter of intent, assignment of lease, amendment of lease, and surrender of lease
• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating asset purchase agreements, including but not limited to term sheet/letter of intent, due diligence, lease negotiation, and closing (sell and buy-side representation).
• Communicating directly with clients and counseling them on transactional strategies and offering legal risk assessments.
• Supporting transactions and due diligence.
  

Requirements

• 2-6 years of real estate transactional experience
  
• Excellent legal drafter
  
• Proactive, energetic, and hardworking team player (ideally with a passion for food and the hospitality industry)
  
• Candidate must have the ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment and possess exceptional oral and written communication skills.
  
• Candidate must be admitted to practice law in the State of New York and possess a J.D. from an accredited law school.
  
• The candidate must reside within commuting distance of Manhattan, New York, or be willing to relocate.
