Trademark Attorney

Location: Washington, D.C., or Michigan (Ann Arbor, Detroit, or Troy)

Portable book of business required: $350,000 minimum.

Our client is seeking an experienced Trademark Attorney to join their intellectual property team in either Washington, D.C. or one of their Metro Detroit offices. The role involves handling a diverse client base, including Fortune 500 companies and startups.

Responsibilities:

• Cultivate and generate new client relationships.
• Manage existing client relationships.
• Conduct trademark availability searches and prosecute U.S. and international trademark applications.
• Manage brand policing efforts and handle TTAB actions.
• Assist with trademark-related litigation.
• Implement processes to enhance group efficiency.
• Complete domain name registrations and transfers.

Education and Experience:

• Graduate of an accredited law school.
• Minimum 5 years of practicing attorney experience.
• Portable book of business of at least $350,000.
• Admitted to practice law in the District of Columbia or Michigan and the USPTO.
