    Job Description

    FILE CLERK - PART-TIME

    We're looking for a part-time file clerk to assist attorneys and paralegals in organizing and maintaining internal files. Primary responsibilities include filing documents within the office, opening mail, and scanning incoming documents. Must be detail-oriented and very thorough and careful to ensure documents are placed in the right physical file and e-file. Must be willing and able to follow directions including, but not limited to, specific naming conventions and following all office protocols.

    COMPENSATION: $15 hourly

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • File incoming documents
    • Open, stamp, and circulate incoming mail
    • Scan incoming documents
    • Print documents arriving via email and file/scan
    • Other miscellaneous administrative tasks

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Familiarity with Microsoft office
    • Excellent organizational skills
    • Typing speed minimum 45 wpm
    • Legal experience preferred
    • Available 9:30 - 2:30 Monday through Friday
