    CLASSIFICATION TITLE: Account MANAGER

    CLASSIFICATION: Exempt, Full Time

    DEFINITION: The Manager works with Sr. Account

    Managers and Directors to develop social media programs,

    strategy and content for Intertwined’s clients. The role

    requires the ability to manage multiple, concurrent projects

    and initiatives while maintaining a positive attitude and

    energy. The Manager will serve as a full-time community

    manager for 4-6 brands, including monitoring all social

    properties, creating unique and engaging content, curating

    social media imagery and assets, and assisting in building

    social media promotions and other initiatives. The Manager

    must have strong creative and professional writing skills and

    will work with the team to brainstorm and create social

    initiatives to grow the assigned communities.

    DIRECTLY RESPONSIBLE TO: Owners of Intertwined, Inc. and Sr. Account Manager

    SUPERVISION OVER: Coordinators, Interns, Vendors

    GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Act as a community manager for Intertwined’s clients’ social media platforms • Create daily content for multiple social media platforms across different industry verticals • Consistently generate innovative content to garner attention and engagement

    • Build social media creative imagery for daily content using Canva, Easil, etc. • Measure and optimize content based on analytics

    • Assist in developing social media program initiatives to improve community size and engagement

    • Create insightful weekly/monthly analytics and metrics reports for clients • Interact, engage and respond to community followers

    • Craft well-written documents including messaging calendars, blogs, reports, proposals, pitches, ad copy, website copy and more

    • Communicate with team on a daily basis to maintain strategy and touch points for all clients

    • Become fully immersed in the clients’ brand and culture

    • Delegate responsibilities to social media interns and mentor them as needed

    • Manage the photo and video collection process for all clients. Manager will gather photos

    assets and videos, catalogue and store on hard drives and share via social media

    ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Find and implement new social strategies, tools and tactics as they develop

    • Identify key influencers and trend setters to align with clients, brands and projects

    • Stay on top of current events and breaking news for real-time engagement opportunities • Oversee development of creative assets as needed

    • Send calendars, creative and proofs to client, manage approval process • Meet with clients regularly as assigned

    • Live events, onsite social media sharing and event coordination to support brand extension for clients

    • Strategy, management and execution of social media advertising buys as applicable for clients

    COMMUNICATIONS AND CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT

    • The Manager will have excellent customer relationship management and communication skills. They will be polished and articulate, and use these skills to manage client and vendor relationships.

    • The Manager will communicate clearly, and timely. They will prepare proposals and reports for clients, maintain well-organized records, answer e-mails within 24 hours of receipt, and return phone calls and voicemails the same day.

    • The Manager will continuously focus on improving client satisfaction to create client loyalty and deliver a positive experience.

    • The Manager will constantly be aware of the needs of their clients and their colleagues in the office, always finding the best way to go above and beyond. They will be empowered to create best-in-class experiences and engagements for their clients and their brands.

    • The Manager will always remain poised, fun, and positive and willing to give lots of (emoji) high fives, constantly remembering that what they do is social by nature and they are part of dynamic and vibrant teams both internally and externally. ☺

    • Weekend and Evening work required and expected for client community management and events

    SKILLS

    • 2– 4 years of experience working with social media management for a client

    • Proficient and current with all social media platforms (including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Snapchat, Pinterest, YouTube, Word Press, etc)

    • Up-to-date with social media trends, applications and tools

    • Email marketing and blogging experience required

    • Social Media advertising including strategy, creation, ad placement, monitoring and reporting

    • Ability to manage multiple accounts and projects across varying industries and fields

    • Excellent research, writing and verbal skills; your grammar and writing skills are top notch!

    • Must be detail-oriented and mindful of deadlines

    • Ability to work in a team as well as independently

    • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Creative applications such as Adobe Photoshop and InDesign, Easil and Canva

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations, Communications, Advertising or Marketing

    COMPENSATION

    The Account Manager will be hired as a full-time exempt employee paid a salary commensurate with experience. Cell phone, mileage and wellness benefits as well as Paid Time Off will be provided to benefit eligible employees.
